A thriving environment for businesses in every sector, Colwyn Bay has a diverse and ever-growing business community.
From independent shops to international banks, the town continues to flourish under the regeneration with many local businesses reporting an upturn in footfall, bookings and enquiries.
The Bay of Colwyn Business Network was established in 2009 and represents a wide range of businesses across all sectors. The Colwyn Bay Chamber of Trade also represents business interests in the town and has been doing so since 1948! There’s also the Colwyn Bay Town Team. All three are thriving and dynamic groups representing the wide range of business interests in the town and providing a collective voice. All have regular contact with and feed into the Bay Life Regeneration Programme.
Support for new and existing businesses is available in the town and Conwy County Borough Council has a team of staff and key partners dedicated to supporting business.
The revitalisation of the town has seen a major increase in new shops opening as well as expansion and refurbishment of many existing businesses, signalling a new era for the high street but also for the growing office sector in the town.
