THI (Townscape Heritage Initiative) – The Colwyn Bay Townscape Heritage Initiative is a fantastic five year heritage led regeneration project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), Welsh Government, Conwy County Borough Council, and Cadw.

The aim of the THI programme is to restore and renovate the nineteenth century distinctiveness of Colwyn Bay’s town centre. Substantial grants are available for qualifying works to restore heritage features or repair works on buildings important to the historical make-up of the town, and to bring back into use the empty space found within these buildings. If you would like to know if a building you are interested in might be eligible for THI grant assistance, please contact the THI team
